Perikkalloor: The inaugural function of the Mission League and Holy Childhood Association (Thirubalasakhyam) activities of the Perikkalloor Forane was held on 12 July 2026 (Sunday).
The programme commenced with the celebration of the Holy Qurbana at 9:30 a.m., followed by the flag hoisting ceremony, a rally, an interactive session, and a public meeting.
The public meeting was presided over by Rev. Fr. George Kappukalayil, Vicar of Perikkalloor Forane. The inaugural address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Reji Pulluvettathil, Malabar Regional Director. Rev. Fr. Syriac Ottappalliyil, Forane Director of the Mission League, welcomed the gathering.
Felicitations were offered by Mr. Benny Arakkakunnel, Forane Advisor of the Mission League, and Mr. Thankachan Puthenpurayil, Headmaster of Perikkalloor Sunday School.
During the programme, Rev. Fr. Ebin Kunnappalliyil, Director of the Holy Childhood Association of Perikkalloor Forane, distributed prizes to the winners. The Forane-level activity programme for the year was officially released by Rev. Fr. Toby Shauriyamackal and Rev. Fr. Stephen Mudakkodiyil by handing over the programme to Sr. Jesin SJC, Sr. Anusmitha SVM, and Sr. Shaniya SVM.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Sr. Treesa SVM, Assistant Director of the Holy Childhood Association of Perikkalloor Forane.
The event witnessed the participation of priests, religious sisters, children, and catechism teachers from the various parishes of Perikkalloor Forane. The celebrations concluded with colourful cultural performances presented by the children, followed by a fellowship meal.
